This position is for 180 contract days plus a 20-day supplemental contract.

This position has direct responsibility to coordinate the clinical experiences for students throughout the curriculum. Must obtain clinical site placements for each semester, contract with faculty to provide clinical instruction, develop adjunct faculty contracts for clinical sites, make site visits, evaluate adjunct faculty, and acquire new clinical sites.

Must be able to provide clinical instruction as needed in a variety of clinical settings. Must participate in academic advising for nursing and pre-nursing students and participate in program assessment and accreditation processes. Will be involved in research and development of potential program offerings; participate in student learning outcome assessment and other duties as assigned by the department chair.

Incumbent will need to be involved in professional development and scholarship; participate in professional associations and services to the college and community. Must assist with recruitment of potential nursing students. Must have Master's Degree with a major in Nursing.

Requires clinical experience in medical/surgical nursing including critical care. Teaching in an associate degree nursing program, especially clinical instruction is preferred. Experience in psychiatric, pediatric or maternity nursing is also a preference.

Must be a Registered Nurse with an active,unrestricted license in the state of Ohio.

Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate through the American Heart Association.

Experience teaching in an associate degree nursing program, including clinical instructionis preferred. Preference is for clinical experience to be in medical/surgical nursing including critical care and/or experience in psychiatric, pediatric, or maternity nursing.
